I really liked the jacket, but the size wasn’t quite right so I had to send it back. The return did work and the exchange eventually showed up fine, but it took longer than I expected. The updates were also kind of vague, so I wasn’t always sure what was happening. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as… I don’t know, I guess I expected it to be a little easier.

I was expecting the fit to be a little more relaxed based on the sizing, but it ended up feeling tight. It’s still wearable and not uncomfortable enough to return, just not quite the fit I had in mind.

I ordered a rain jacket from Mountain Hardwear and felt relieved when the size chart actually helped me pick the right fit. Checkout was simple, the shipping updates showed up when they were supposed to, and when the jacket arrived I was genuinely happy with it. The material feels sturdy, and the zippers and pockets seem well made.

I did get a little annoyed because the product photos didn’t really show the inside well, and I had to look around more than I wanted for the returns info. But once I got past that, I was back to feeling good about the purchase. I’d give it 4 stars overall since the gear does what I needed and the site worked fine.

I picked up a jacket and a fleece from Mountain Hardwear recently both have been great. They feel really well made, like the zippers don’t snag and the seams seem sturdy. Wore the jacket on a couple wet hikes already and it held up suprisingly well. Happy with the quailty overall.

I sent my jacket in for a warranty repair, and to be fair, they did fix it okay. The frustrating part was that they kept making it sound like it would be done sooner and that I’d get regular updates, but neither really happened. I had to wait around with barely any info, and the whole thing ended up taking almost a month. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely annoying when the promises don’t match what actually happens.

I’ll say the customer service team was really nice and easy to deal with. My jacket order did have a bit of a size issue, which was frustrating at first because I was hoping it would just fit right away. But they got it sorted out quickly and were friendly the whole time, so overall I had a good experience

Ordered a jacket from Mountain Hardwear and, the shipping was faster than I expected. They sent the tracking pretty much right away, and it actually updated like it was supposed to, which is always nice and definitely didn’t make me check it constantly or anything.
The box showed up in good shape, the jacket was packed fine, and there weren’t any weird delays or damage. Very normal, very smooth, completely calm experience. I’d order from them again.

It’s okay for regular rain, but I wouldn’t count on it in a real storm. Mine started leaking when the weather got rough, which was disappointing. Fine for mild protection, but not something I’d fully trust.

I picked up a Mountain Hardwear jacket mostly because I liked the look, it does have a really clean design. It’s not too loud or overly outdoorsy, which I appreciate. I wasn’t totally sure it would work with my usual clothes, but it actually fits in well. Still figuring out if it’s worth all the hype, but style-wise, I’m happy with it

I was weirdly thrilled by how light this thing is. Carrying it around feels like a tiny miracle. The only thing that crushed my soul a little is that it doesn’t pack down quite as small as I was hoping, but overall it still does the job well.
